What's the difference between a bundle and a monthly plan?

Bundles are a single up-front payment for a fixed window of full access (4, 6, or 12 months) — best for a finite goal like passing your written or checkride, and cheaper than every major incumbent. Monthly plans (Plus, Aviator) bill every month and are best if you are unsure how long you'll need. You can always start free.

How does the referral program work?

Share your referral link from your account settings. A friend who signs up through it gets 20% off their first plan, and once they buy, you get a free month of access credited to your account. There's no limit on how many friends you can refer.

How do I subscribe to a paid plan?

Click the button on any plan. You will be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to enter your payment details. If you do not have an account yet, create a free account first and then buy a bundle or upgrade from the pricing page or your settings.

Can I switch between plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you downgrade from a paid plan to Free, you keep your data but lose access to premium features. Any active CFI links will be severed on downgrade.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your quiz history, chat history, and progress data are always yours. Downgrading limits your weekly usage and locks you to one exam type, but nothing is deleted.

How does the school discount work?

Flight schools get Aviator accounts at $20 per student per month (minimum 5 students), a $5 per seat discount from the individual price. Volume discounts are available for larger schools. Contact us to set up your school.

How does CFI verification work?

Apply with your FAA certificate number, full name, and location. We verify your credentials against the FAA Airman Inquiry database. Approval typically takes 1-2 business days.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period with no additional charges.
